Morning Frappes! So can I just say, it has been one heck of a week. The highlight of it was probably, and don't call me crazy, but the highlight had to have been cleaning out my closet. I know you guys are probably like "why?" But honestly it's just so clean and updated. Spring Cleaning definitely came early this year and blessed us all. Anyways, I feel like just this huge weight was just lifted of my shoulders *excuses self while praising Jesus Hallelujah*. It's so empty! But, with cleaning out a closet comes new room to fill up. And we all know what that means... Shopping!!!!! So my little frappes, today I'm going to share with you, my tips and tricks to shopping.
Tip #1: Get comfortable. Make sure when you go shopping you are wearing comfortable shoes and comfortable clothes. I cannot stress this enough. You always see those hoochies, pardon my French, at the mall wearing these huge stilettos, that they obviously can't walk in, dragging their feet because they are so uncomfortable. Don't be that person. Just wear sneakers.
Make sure your clothes are easy to remove and easy to get back on. I know that I personally, like to try on my clothes before buying them, and if you are dressed like you're about to go clubbing, you're gonna pretty tired of walking into a dressing room after your first stop at a store.
Tip #2: Always bring more money then you think you're gonna spend. First of all, you can spend a lot of money and still be happy because you have some left over. Secondly, you don't have to worry about deciding between two items, when you can just get them both because you decided to bring more money at the last minute. Third, you don't wanna be that friend that just follows everyone around from store to store all grumpy because you can't buy anything because you blew all your money at the first store.
Tip #3: Have a plan of what you want to buy and where you want to go. You save money if you aren't wandering around a mall looking for something cute. Decide where you want to go and stick to the plan *uses stern voice.*
Tip #4: When you walk into a store, always go to the sales rack first. There is nothing better than the feeling of getting a fabulous shirt on sale. Money savers people. Clothing always looks better on you when you know you didn't spend full price on
it.
...So that's all for now frappes. I'm thinking that every other Sunday I will add a page to my Fashionista Bible. What do guys think of page number #1? You like? Leave me comments on what you want to see in the Fashionista Bible and what you think of the idea of having the Fashionista Bible itself. But, until next week...
ciao.
